The Xbox clearly does beat the PS2. Everyone of my friends that had PS2's got rid of them and bought an Xbox once they had a chance to play one. -- Visit my homepage:»www.kenmerritt.com |

I've had the same experience. Myself included. The XBOX in everyway is a better machine. PS2 just has the games which will come along if Microsoft sticks with it. -- Adelphia, you just flat out suck. THAT IS S-U-C-K!!!!!!! |

Right xbox can't even hold a lead over gamecube. xbox and gamecube keep trading second and third place in units sold. Add to that the fact that due to processor and graphics desing changes the xbox2 probably won't be able to play the original xbox games and will loose the hard drive while ps3 will still play all former generations (that is based on info from Microsoft and Sony in gaming news) and you've got a loosing console in xbox any way you look at it. |

Greater sales doesn't equal a better system. And when the Xbox2 comes out, I will have no desire to play Xbox1 games nor will most people. I would like to see an honest poll of what percentage of PS2 owners actually play PS1 games. -- Visit my homepage:»www.kenmerritt.com |

 | reply to Ken Last I checked, five year olds still like playing Super Mario World on SNES.
Don't forget that there are more than just 16 to 30 year olds, with the money for new games, playing video games. |

Microsoft sells each X-box at a loss just like Sony does for the playstation. So the more money they lose the more units they sold. -- Visit my homepage:»www.kenmerritt.com |

Greater Sales equates to $ for more development and even better products for a more popular product. 3rd in sales usually equals discontinued junk. And while you may enjoy throwing out your investment in games I prefer to keep the ones I like around and appreciate a company that understands that while I want their latest system I also want to keep my games around without having every console the company makes. If xbox2 cant muster better than a weak tug of war for last place with nintendo then the xbox will go the way of the Saturn. |

 | reply to Plldwnyrpnts Last I checked, I still love playing Super Mario Bros 3 on NES. I am 18 years old. I can't see how anyone wouldn't enjoy playing the classic Mario games. |
