A $1-$2 increase every few years which is what type of increase we see with DN is reasonable. 3 increases amounting to double digit percentage hikes in 2 years is IMHO not. The free 811 box which also includes on OTA HD tuner is for new subs and is shown on the promotion page »www.dishnetwork.com/content/getd···ex.shtml The only requirement is 12 month contract for their $10/mo or $110/yr HD tier. I don't know what an upgrade charge would be for current subs. GNXPower Got Boost? Premium join:2003-12-18 Huntington Beach, CA	Before I was with CC, I had DN and was treated well in the form of no price increases and them adding content pretty regularly. They also had decent upgrade deals for current customers. But everywhere has those come-on ads. Look at Comcast. $19 digital cable, $19 HSI for a whole year for DSL customers, $200 credit if you're a DBS customer...but once they have you it's less content, less channels and higher prices, higher prices, higher prices...forever.
