T.V. Ads

Time Warner is advertising their T.V. Ads about their Road Runner saying that Road Runner is better then DSL. I saw an Ad saying that Road Runner is much faster then DSL. Another Ad was saying that there are three times the number of Cable subscribers then DSL subscribers. Now I do not know what to believe, because SBC is now working on trying to meet or beat the cable services. Does anyone have any fact about this?

44.95 for 3-6mbit/384-608kbps sounds about right to me
OOL is still twice as fast on download thought but with NO UPLOAD cap from SBC, it is a better choice!
Let's hopes that what they have coming Feb 2.is for real, otherwise I be quite disappointed, and this will just be another rumor to bait most cable user to switch over. Eitherway, SBC is still better then cable with no download/upload restriction.

No facts until 2/2.

You would say this since you work for SBC from the name you have on here. SBC will say anything to get business from people. Most of the way to save money from SBC is actually by signing a contract at that time. then the prices drop and your fuc*ed cause you cant sign up again due to the damn customer service reps. SBC also has a number of ppl that work in that company are young people that dont know shit about anything.

Also i was able to get SBC DSL when it was with Producy but when it went Yahoo! They cut the distance in almost half total around the country. No I'm unable to get it. But since my problems with SBC theres NO WAY IN HELL I'd get their service even if they were the last broadband company. Time Warner is the only other option. and they give us a lot more options for cable modem.

Since Earthlink moved their tech support to India I changed to AOL Broadband and then after that promotion I'm going to RoadRunner. Better services, better customer service, and People speak english!

Also the ads TWC have been showing regarding more cable customers on TWC's RR network than DSL is true in TWC areas due to the problems getting the service. TWC does not have as many problems with the service. Also for what they charge for cable Modem service you can get FREE cable TV channels as well. Just plug the TV into the outlet and theres your expanded cable service. Not the same with DSL.. and why if you have cable modem service be tied to SBC or another LEC when you can get VoIP and cable modem service? or even a cell phone? doesn't make sense?

But then again. people just like spending money.

No one has any facts until 2/2. Until then, its all just speculation.

Current customers qualify for promotions. All they have to do is re-up their contract.

Perhaps because people want more speed?
