IE is still the prefered browser

I use the google toolbar, and roboforms... and on and on. They aren't compatible with Mozilla, or Opera etc... otherwise, I may consider switching. I do have firebird and opera on my PC just for a change of pace, and the tabbed browsing, which I like alot.

It is your option to disable this feature.

The only thing in the Google toolbar that comes even remotely close to being "spyware" is the feature that contacts Google to display the PageRank of the page you are browsing. When you install the toolbar, the installer warns you about this and you have the ability to turn it off in the installation if you want. You can also enable/disable the PageRank display feature after you have installed the toolbar.

Re: IE is still the prefered browser

OK...They win! I give up. IE is out! Someone help me out here. Which is the most IE-like out of Firebird, Mozilla, and Opera? I need Java, ActiveX, and SSL(128bit).

Can someone point me where to get started?

Thanks.

Firebird (which is built on Mozilla's Gecko engine), Mozilla, and Opera should all support Java and SSL, but you probably won't find a non-IE browser that supports ActiveX.

Re: IE is still the prefered browser

The "Install On Demand" service uses Active X No? I need it for the client work I do. (Program delivery) Hmmm...I guess I'll still need IE after all.

Were's a cool site for Firebird "add-ons"?
