If only we could just get DSL in our area we'd be set. The ONLY company we can get now is ComCrap. These bills are ridiculous! -- "Smart is knowing your ABC's. Intelligent is knowing how to use them."
Oh yeah I know how you feel. Imagine my surprise when I learned that one of my best friends that lives in Ashburn, VA (about 40 Minutes from DC) and is served by Adelphia pays like only 99 dollars for his digital cable and internet with all the premium channels.
For a comparable package from Comcrap I'd have to pay over 140 bucks and that doesn't include equiment rental fees. I know there is a lot that gets factored in here but damd.
I signed up for the BellSouth service and will be saving over $25 a month for tv/dsl/phone as compared to COX. Add in the cellular saving and it comes to $33 per month saving. COX doesn't have the cellular option so they are not a complete offering company like BellSouth. I also get a FREE one time charge for TiVo!!!
These bills are ridiculous!
