FDD/Memory conflict

legatoeff : Just built this system. While doing minimal set up I posted fine using both sticks of CorsairXMS in slots 2 and 3. Both worked fine and bios boot up acreen showed Dual DDR 400. So I proceeded to add FDD, got the long memory problem beep code. So I tried different cables etc, still received memory beep code. So I took out 1 stick of RAM and moved the other to Dimm slot 1 and all was well again. Was able to load all other hardware without problems.
So what I am wondering what can cause this? I want to use Dual memory, but there seems to be some type of conflict with between the Dimm slots/memory and the FDD. Any suggestions?
I guess I could always not use the FDD after I get windows loaded.

__________________
NF7-S V2
WD RAPTOR SATA
COSAIR TWINXMS 512MB
AMD 2500 BARTON
LITE-ON CDRW
ATI RADEON 9200
