 | Get ahold of Northpoint for a CLEC -> CLEC switch Does anyone know how to get a hold of Northpoint to do a CLEC -> CLEC switch. I am trying to order DSL, but it says that I am out of free copper. Northpoint had a DSL in our office, and in order to have the new provider use it, they said I had to get the circuit ID and contact Northpoint with the info, and they can "sell" us the line so we can assign it to a different CLEC. I'm looking for Northpoint contact #'s or email addresses.
Thanks in advance,

I don't think you can find someone at Northpoint who is able to give you circuit ID. But you can try to find this ID at the label tag that supposed to be attached to the physical line where it is connected to you office wire.
As to "sell" the line, Northpoint has issued official letter ("LOA letter") that releases all NP lines making them available for switch, resell or whatever. ILEC should definitely know about such a letter, but in case they ask you to provide this letter, you can easy find it. NP web site is closed now, but few ISPs had copies on their sites - I saw the links in this forum and in the "Northpoint closure discussion board".
