Comcast has definitely implemented it's awesome speed increase of 3000/256. It's about time for Knology to follow in it's footsteps. Anyone know about any future plans?

Man I hate Comcast, but it sure is fast here at work. My home Knology still runs at about 2000/256.

Good question. I would like to have an answer as well. Comcast is really advertising hard in Knoxville about the new 3.0Mb speeds.

Yea but knology still has a better price. $30 a month for me.

Mediacom recently increased their speeds from 1500/128 to 3000/256. This clearly wipes out all the competition in Columbus, where Knology used to be the fastest (though not by much).

Mediacom has been advertising heavily locally over their faster speeds. It will be interesting to see what Knology does, but from what hear from the inside, they're not planning on anything anytime soon. It almost seems like they don't care.

And yes, I'm really enjoying these new speeds. The upgrade was painless, with speeds and latency remaining strong during all hours of the day.
