Don't do it, It doesn't work, connect your modem directly to your NIC, I've tested it out through Linksys and it doesn't work. -- Flying on CV Optimum Online Cable @ 8490/945 & Surfing on TWC Coax Road Runner Cable @ 3031/369 |

I noticed a few people have done it, I only know it's disabled via Toshiba PCX2600 Cable Modem. -- Flying on CV Optimum Online Cable @ 8490/945 & Surfing on TWC Coax Road Runner Cable @ 3031/369 |

The Config File is stored inside of the Cable Modem so it should be able to extract the information out. -- Flying on CV Optimum Online Cable @ 8490/945 & Surfing on TWC Coax Road Runner Cable @ 3031/369 |

It seems the speeds were put into place overnight...and users "Mysteriously" started seeing things going faster. Now I wonder what Brighthouse users will think when the entire RR/TWC Network gets upgraded. -- Flying on CV Optimum Online Cable @ 8490/945 & Surfing on TWC Coax Road Runner Cable @ 3031/369 |

I think more rr subscriber are going to do the switch to sbc if they don't quickly upgrade their speed! Why pay 44.95 for 3/384 when more speed, 6/608 can be had for the same amount? provided that sbc serves your area and you are more then qualified for expert pk. |

Not everyone is in range for those SBC Speeds, now if RR/TWC will be upgrading their network....Verizon & BellSouth may be pressured to upgrade speeds now. -- Flying on CV Optimum Online Cable @ 8490/945 & Surfing on TWC Coax Road Runner Cable @ 3031/369 |

yeah, looks like the gap between rr and ool is narrowing. looks like a direct response to the SBC speeds though, given they are near identical. -- John F. Kerry for President! |

 | Don't get your hopes up.
This is only happening in NC so far.
But comon' already do it here in NY RR!!! -- Anyone but Bush and Kerry in '04. |
