Hope you're right, as the government change of old guards to newer "untested" ones I believe this is the chance PAS is waiting for.

Assuming all in Kedah are eligible to vote and 100% voters turn out.

Most probably the 27% (19+8%) of non-bumis won't vote for PAS. Assuming they vote for BN, then the BN only need to convince 50 % of the Malay to get 2/3 majority.

What was the countrywide turn out for last election? 60 something percent? or less or heck even higher?

Yup..turnout last election abt 60 over percent only...

Problem is NOT non-bumis voting for PAS but for any other opposition party....eg DAP!
That way, BN lose votes & in consequence mayb seats...:(

Re Kedah State election outcome...doesn't matter as long as PAS NOT get majority!!
We'll all be living in the times of Prophet Mohd (mayb even back 2the Stone Age lo...) should PAS gain ctrl of any state!!:(:(:(

if majority of people of Kedah wants PAS,i guess we cant stop them right? this is democracy, people cast their ballots... they speak in election.

if PAS gets Kedah, then it's theirs.... but as a malaysian citizen i want a guarantee that the Constitution of Malaysia will be uphold.that if PAS captures the Parliament, they WILL NOT change the constitution.IF they do i tell u Sabah, sarawak will exit the federation of malaysia.

LOL soul2soul, PAS wants equality among all races under the Islamic teaching and law. They would change the Constitution to show it.

The 60% turnout ratio is already a quite satisfactory figure. There are lots of people can't vote due to working/studying in other states/overseas. Imaging that your hometown is at Penang but working at KL now, few people will purposely take one day off just to go back and vote, not to mention those at overseas.

in my place got lots of BN n PAS flag n poster...
anyway im interested to watch the battle of cheras parliament seat...
DAP conquer it for a long time.....
and this year BN candidate said he will do a lot for cheras people if he win....
one of his promise is to solve the traffic problem in cheras.
i would love to see he win....n fullfill all his promises..
im sick of traffic jam in cheras

I dun think DAP has any chances to win most of the seats. They even fight among themselves, disagree with their own member..... how can't they win if they r not standing together.

Disappointing ler.... DAP these days is not like the DAP BN afraided of 5 or 10 yrs ago ....

Erm DAP 2 elections ago was looking strong but since last election I seen less & even less DAP flags so I am guess money problems, nobody wants to donate to their cause.
