Bellsouth.

While Bellsouth may not have 3Mbps (YET), Bellsouth makes up for the shortcoming everywhere else. Its more reliable... Its most consistent... Lower latency... Better backbone connections (Level3 and Worldcom)... NO download byte-caps... Excellent technical support, who can actually do something, unlike Cox where they scratch their head while on the phone for two hours and then roll a truck without doing more than pinging (true story)...

Its up to you, but take it from some one who was in your spot once (Cox screwed up our billing in the process of trying to fix an overcharge, cute), make the leap.

Oh yeah, one more thing... Proper sentence structure is your friend. It makes it easier for tired people like me to read. ;)
--
Male by birth...
hailinfantry : Well, think about it this way. A wife (Bellsouth DSL) is a quality investment (for the most part) that gives love consistently and graciously and never lets you down. A prostitute (Cable) on the other hand is overly expensive and does often fail to deliver if she can rob you first and get away with it.

We consistently get 1250 down. On cable, you may not get 700 down at peak. (Which you know already...I researched your posting history and it seems that you are pretty disappointed in the fact that peak times can really hurt a cable connection)

Dundeal4 : Ok, i've posted on here before as i said about how i've been a loyal member to cox for quite sometimes since they were @Home.. However recently cox decided to screw me horribly on a bill that i paid recently. A tech came out to disconnect me when i gave him my cc over the phone he took everything and said great, well a week lately cox calls me saying i owe them over 300+ dollars.. insane.. when i just paid 231.32. I lost the ticket yes myfault but cox says they dont keep that crap on records, bull crap.. so now i'm either being forced to pay this outragous bill or switch to bellsouth.. alot of people tell me mix reviews.. and i wanna get the low down, when i had cox i was over 3+ mb/s download thats no bull my upload was between 200 and 250kbps.. i was perfectly fine with my upload i was more concerned with my download.. i've never had a friend own or have own dsl myself i was wondering how it compared to dsl before i switched over people tell me that dsl is faster and Hint the name "Direct" service line meaning it isn't shared like cable.. but seriously.. what should i do :(.. is the switch worth it or should i just stick with cox..
