Re: tivo 2 vs. ReplayTV 5504 maybe because to some people it is slow. It might not be to you but to me it is bad and nothing you can say will change my mind. i know 3 people with a series 2 and all of them think it is slow along with me. All i was giving was my opinion whether you think its right or not. |

I have a S1 SA TiVo, it is quick when showing the iO cable lineup, and even faster with a cachecard. |

| I've owned TiVo, DirecTivo and ReplayTV 5040 and 5504. It's no contest for me. The ReplayTVs are MUCH better than the TiVos. And yes, making my 5504 a 5040 was very easy. I love backing up recordings to DVD, streaming shows, trading shows, etc. |
