Re: RealOne is Improving On two of my machines running Win 2K, I use older versions of RealPlayer with the adware hacked out, based on instructions I received two years ago. Those players never bother me. But I don't see the need to have CD extraction and a whole media center in a player. I expressed that to Real, so hopefully they are going to respond with a scaled-down player without all the bloatware. Real has to understand that we users mostly already have CD rippers and other tools and we don't need to duplicate them when all we want is to hear a media clip on some web site.  | I still like to use old versions of programs. I am still using WinAmp 2.68 the b4 AOL took over version...and it run so much better than the version now. I have an old Opera version and a few other programs. Maybe if they would not have put spyware or malware in the player ppl would be more receptive. -- Join SETI Now! |
