Sorto can see them, so I guess it's just some of us. (I had to go to your profile and check your post history to see what you posted.) If it doesn't clear itself up after a bit, I'll make a new thread that isn't affected by whatever weirdness happened when they had to superglue the server-hamsters together from two different versions of the post database.

Well, that explains it. I mean, if the server hamsters are sniffing glue 'n all.

I read all of the fine print and it didn't say anywhere on the glue package that you shouldn't use it on hamsters; and it didn't say anywhere on the hamster package that you shouldn't use glue on them. So this really OUGHT to be working!

Did you and jaynick get close to that glue, too?

What!? Of course not! That would be irresponsible.

The fact that a retired server-hamster is currently stuck to my ankle is a complete coincidence.

Well, they HAD to retire him, he was stuck to my ankle...

May be better than having a retired glue sniffing server-hamster stuck to your ankle. I hope you guys can now see all the posts. You can, right?

I can see them! DSLR seems to think yours is the 180th post in the thread, so it kicked it to page 7 (in my 30-per-page setup). On page 7, there are 13 posts previously unseeable by me. I think the database is confused about how many posts there actually are in the thread.

This is the 44th post on page 4 for me.

150+44=199?

Maybe I have my own database?

What happens when my 50 posts per page fills up, will I get a new page? or do we unretire the hampster?

And your own calculator! Your post is the 14th on page 7 for me, which would be 180+14=194 also. But the post count thinks it's 180, so there are 14 posts uncounted and screwing up the pagination. I wonder if, when it reaches 200, the 50-per-pagers and 100-per-pagers will also lose count?

Ok, now I reset my setting back to default and now I get a page 10 and all the posts. The hamster must have recovered from the glue!

Well, I needed my own something. I don't have a hamster.

And this post is apparently reply 186. Is that what you meant by post count?

Anyway, I think the problem might go away if you retire the thread, too. Maybe the hamster will get stuck to the old one.

Yeah, exactly. The actual number of posts seems to disagree with the count the database is giving. Maybe a problem related to the threads I've seen with negative post counts...

Thanks again to jaynick See Profile for your donation today. I heard a rumor that you might be nominated for Donator of the Year 2012!

Thank you, once again, jaynick See Profile for your donation today! Er, yesterday, maybe. Depending what time zone you're in. Hopefully not the same one as me (Eastern Insomnia Time).
