for the fixboot

i get do you like to write a bootsector to the partision?
i type y
and is successfull

for the Fixmbr
Repairs Master Boot Record

i get a warning that this delete the partition just
for this reason i am a litle carefull.

Don't worry... you won't lose your partition. I've fixmbr'd countless times before!

OK i will go for FIXMBR and i will update.

i boot with the win2k boot disk and thru the set up
i get the NTDETECT.com is not the original file that setup copied to the win2k installation.

setup can not copy the file NTLDR
setup can not copy the file arcsetup.exe
setup can not copy the file arcldr.exe

i copyed last week all these files from another win2k system to a flopy but still the boot started with the ntldr is missing.
i will try the 2kboot that you have the 3 files if makes a difference.

i will make the changes and update tomorrow.
