I hate this look. I got another star recently, then several days later it's gone in favor of someone's bright idea to change the look.
What's that? I can pay $10, then change it by adding some code somewhere? 
No thanks, I had no need for Premium membership then, and I certainly have no need for it now!
Change it back!! Even from a purely affectual standpoint, it sucks.

I am getting used to it - I ended up going Premium (I had an old, original account) so I could upload an avatar and get some of the other goodies. I changed my view to the "approximation" that has been going around various forums...it's ok.
Now I need to stop lurking in the forums and actually POST something! LOL

Go here, »No more stars?, my post , for the code for the best original default look. Plus further down the thread I added a zip for the original spinning stars. Use your level to determine stars.

First question is : WHY??? I don't like the new look and to have to upgrade to premium to get 'some' of the old look back, well I was thinking of doing that (upgrading to Premium)for a couple reasons but I don't like to be pushed into anything.
Again, the question : Why was it changed??
Maybe if there was a good enough one, people would grumble & accept it but just changing it on the fly like that...not good. |

This change is at a user level presentation and all users will view the Threads/Posts differently from the default if they use the Memebers/I See People option.

Who know the reason? And from passed experience, it won't change back so all of this is a waste of time and effort.
And by the way, has anybody had problems changing there views? I can't seem to do anything with it and I am Premium.

Ottawa, ON | Yes, but you are premium, my point is that as a "member", I don't see any level info or anything. Mind you, it may be irrevelant anyways, as I've read in other threads that you can reach higher levels strictly by posting meaningless responses ie:-lol-,-repost-etc.
The only real info I see on you, other than viewing your page, is your joined date. No levels, and of course, no stars. (other than your avatar):)

... I realize all this discussion is just a waste of time (nobody was asked about the changes and nobody's opinions will generate any reversal) but if I DID have any input, it would be this: I know I can change the way I view the info, but I'd like some input into changing the way OTHERS view MY info ... some people chose NOT to enter certain info when they registered and of course it doesn't show - but once you DO enter info you have NO options to change or delete it, and NO input as to what info the 'SITE' decides to make public ... I'd like that changed ... if I'd known I had NO edit function I would have chosen differently ...
... not that anyone cares, not that it matters to the powers-that-be, just my 2¢ ...
