I've been a dialup hero far too long.

So, I'm tempted to go with Mesa. I live in Loveland, around their 43rd and Taft service area. I ain't gonna lie to y'all -- I intend to use the service primarily for online gaming, and secondarily for your basic web browsing and file sharing. Is the latency going to kill me (in the figurative sense as well as in various games)?

You'll probably be looking between 40ms and 70ms on average. Even if you go with LP Broadband (a Mesa Competitor in Loveland) you'll still have higher than 20ms. I play UT2004 and as long as you can keep to about 120 or less on the server you'll be fine.
