| I agree with vonage I think the real issue here and what probably scares the sh*t out of vonage is the fact that it's AT&T. Somebody already pointed out another service, "voipage", that I have never heard of; probably a small outfit, not much money. Vonage probably doesn't give a crap about them.
But AT&T has been around the block and has tons of money; I don't doubt for a second that AT&T would spend obscene amounts of money and go out of their way to take advantage of the (admittedly slight, but it's there) similar sound of the two names.
Unfortunately, vonage shouldn't win but copyright and trademark law is so fvked up now, they probably will. |
