Lets face it when cell phones first came out you paid through the nose. And I think that goes for just about every bit of technology out there. Most companies these days do not want churn, Churn makes a company look bad to its investors.
If you look at cellular service today there STILL isnt any real deals out there. And if you offered a decent service you wouldn't have to charge a $250 early termination fee or lock your customers into multi-year contracts because your customers wouldnt want to leave. POTS doesnt do this to its subs
