 | Ordered today and will report back on this thread I ordered the service today and asked for a Platinum service level and PCMCIA card since I plan to use this around Durham and RTP. I sure hope this works out and will report back technical discoveries and details if yall are interested.
Some things I noticed.
1. They ran a credit check and asked for CC. The credit check involved answering some address history account and details.
2. They recorded my conversation and made me say that I would abide by the AUP and what not.

That's definitely Nextel. They always run a credit check and the standards aren't so easy.
People can complain about their prices and not offering a lot of family type plans. The fact is they have some good packages. The part that costs and they haven't come down on price is the PTT part of the bill.
I've had them for over 4 years and love their service. I receive all incoming minutes for free. Nextel has brought a lot of good packages for the consumer market in the last year or so. Are the competitive on price? Maybe not..but I've never had a problem with their service. |
