| They don't need that for the 4060. All they need to do is follow the instructions from my post. I have had it work on both of my pcs with the 4060 and 4 other people have claimed it worked. So far my way has worked 100% |

| reply to Ogrt48 Ogrt! I tried everything you said step by step, but when I get to the part where I change the vpi setting, it asks me to restart. Whether I do or don't, the VPI AND VCI both wind up blank again. Then I tried the last step but no luck. Help! Do you have any ideas? I have tried to install before, many times with no luck...is there any way to remove a history of everything I've tried (in the registry?) Or change this VCI number in the registry? I am clueless! |

| Ramsestut, when you install the drivers Ogrt lists, do you get the auto config wizard afterwards for them (not the install wizard but the one after they've been successfully installed)? When I installed them, I didn't use the wizard for auto config and it worked until I rebooted.
I couldn't figure out why my connection failed until I let it do the auto config, then it work flawlessly. If the wizard keeps popping up, let it config your connection and see if that does the trick. -- Hey sexy mama....wanna kill all humans? |

Anon | reply to XPUser Hey Ogrt. I tried seeing if the same thing you did for Ameritech would work for my Bellsouth Fast Access Account. I think technically it should have worked. The only thing that didn't work I guess is that after I plugged in the wires for the modem, the light never turned green. It stayed orange. I continued thinking that maybe it would work after a reboot. But it didn't.
Also the auto config wizard never came up after the setup wizard finished. I created a new account, but when I right clicked the ATM connection and went into properties, there didn't seem to be anything that said Efficient Networks RFC 1483 Intermediate Driver. Plus i couldn't disable or enable the ATM. What did I do wrong. I'm getting annoyed at bellsouth for not supporting XP!!! |

I've been attempting to connect for over a week now with no luck. The modem light is green, and I followed all of Orgt48's steps exactly, but running into the Vci roadblock. PLEASE does anyone have a solution??? |

@170.115.x.x | reply to Ogrt48 My 4060 works fine with Verizon but after every reboot the 4th connection always says cable unplugged. I can still connect even with the message. If I disable and then enable it all is fine. Any idea why connection 4 is "unplugged" after reboot? |
