[IE6.x] Toolbars

I was wondering, how do I remove the toolbars that get installed with particular applications. I can right-click, and click to disable it, but the next time I start IE it just re-appears.

Can you be more specific on the toolbar(s) you are trying to remove? That will help others pinpoint the easiest way.

The toolbar is called MySearch. I've had it for so long that I forgot where it came from.

Try what was suggested to me here. It fixed my problem. »[IE6.x] Home Page Hijacking

According to this doxdesk information, you can remove it via Add\Remove programs. After removal, I'd suggest running either AdAware and\or Spybot S&D to make certain all of it is gone.

Moving to the Security Forum.

It wasn't in Add/Remove, but then I ran AdAware and Spybot. AdAware didn't find it, but Spybot found it and removed it, thanks for the help guys.
