well, Im a bit deflated.
I came in here to post all my wonderful resourses, and, alas theyve been posted.
The only things I can offer, are Phoenix contact: »www.phoenixcontact.com/com/index_1024.htm
And a rather obscure company, more suited to lasers, MWK. Ive bought stuff from them for the last 10 years or so. Good stock, but not a good web presence. Catalogs are a must
Built my first HeNe laser from them.. That was 11 years ago.. *sniff*

Fry's |
|
Riss_CentaurMod'taur - - - - 4 On The Floor.Premium,MVM,Ex-Mod 2005-07 join:2004-01-20 Chicago, IL | Fry's is good. It's not often you find a brick & morter retail store anymore where you can walk in and find a selections of IC's and small fix-it parts. (Radio Shacks small selection excluded.) Here in the Chicagoland area we had our first Fry's open up and it is a cool place.

If we're talking local places, I *always* go to Torrance Electronics on Carson Street first. Not big on computer stuff, except for any kind of cable or adapter you'd ever need, but TONS of other stuff, including tubes. Great people, great prices! -- One man's Magic is another man's Engineering. |
