| . . Don't take this personal, but I don't know which one of these is worse:
*200 mb storage *10 gb transfer
*8 GB storage *500 mb transfer
One gives you more bandwidth than you'll use in 10 months, and zip for comparative storage.
The other gives you enough storage to run the biggest Internet Store you've ever seen, but not enough bandwidth to let the customers in.
If you need big bandwidth, you're going to need big storage, and vice/versa.
MP3s and .exe files (like for a large download site) can use up 30 GIGS a DAY - I've seen it happen.
Nothing personal, but I seriously looked at everything out there before I chose a resellers package - they're all unbalanced.
I decided to sell 1 meg of storage and 2 megs of bandwidth a month for a buck.
Fifty megs of storage, and a hundred megs of bandwidth a month for $50 a year ($4.30 a month) is realistic.
120 megs of storage and 240 megs of bandwidth a month for $120 a year ($10 a month) is realistic.
A buck a month a Meg, with double that in bandwidth.
Pay for the year, and I'll give you 2 months free.
That's how I sell it, and I offer all the goodies with the account, too, like:
Free Scripts, PHP, Pearl, HTML, DHTML, CSS, FTP, CPanel, MySql, SSH, POP3, CGI, TCL, Mail Blockers, Front Page Extensions, mailing lists, Email forwarding, Sub-Domains, Domain Parking, Shopping Carts, Linux servers, 24/7 maintenance crew, climate controlled environment, High Speed Servers (1 Gig CPUs), Reselling rights for Site Designers, add-on options like more ram, more storage, more bandwidth, semi-dedicated servers, dedicated servers, Private IPs for large businesses, Secure Transfers, Anonymous FTP, 99% Up-time guarantee - the list goes on.
Most of those offers you posted don't even talk about how much bandwidth.
Just offering CGI and Front page, even with POP3 accounts isn't enough, people want more.
Look at the figures again....

You might want to change that.. its 8GB transfer and 500MB storage. Have to admit, that caught my eye.. better package than Aletia, and if one signs up now, that 12GB transfer and 700MB storage.. Hm... Sounds pretty good! -- Computer Cops | ZXList |

Profitable and in business since 1996. I'm not sure how long you'll see some of these $5 hosters last... |

| . . Ya - what Reckless1 said....
If you look closely at their TOS, you'll find way in the back, in fine print, that everything you post becomes property of GeoCities.
I pulled all my stuff off their servers and left a long time ago.....
