[General] Revised and Updated Voice Prompts for Tech Support

There are quite a few changes which includes the new voice prompt "True Switch" that will walk subscribers through setting up email address from other ISP to SBC's.

Revised and Updated as of Nov 4th, 2003

Voice Prompts for SBC DSL Main Support: 877-722-3755

The Main Menu started with 4 choices:

(1)Technical Support
(1)Password / Dial Up Access Numbers
(1) Password Issues
(2) Dial Up Access Numbers
(2)Email and Connectivity Problems
(1) PC
(2) MAC
(3)CSI/Tech Install/Order CD (New Subscribers)
(1) Self-install Help Desk
(2) Re-order Software CD
(3) To Discuss / Pre-Schedule Tech Install
(4) To Confirm / Reschedule Tech Install
(4)True Switch (Email Setup help desk for new
subscribers from other ISP's)
(2)(1) Maintenance Ticket Status / Request Tech Visit
(2)(2) Check or Change SBC/Yahoo Service Order
(1)Tech Scheduled for Today or Before Today
(2)To Confirm or Change DSL Tech Install Date
(2)(3) DSL Equip Delivery Status
(1)Regular DSL Modem
(2)Home-Networking Equipment
(3)(1) Discuss Billing Issues
(3)(2) Order or Move SBC/Yahoo DSL Service
(3)(3) Cancel / Disconnect DSL
(4)(1) Yahoo Email/Browser Problem
For Yahoo Premium Service Support such as BriefCase, Messenger, Game, etc, please Call 1-877-469-7847 OR you can go to "http://help.sbcglobal.net" for more information. To cancel a premium service at any time, please call Yahoo Customer Service at (408) 349-5151.

In addition, for order related issues, and if 877# option 3 failed to fix any order related problems, please call this number instead for CA subscribers: 888 884 2375 and follow the voice prompt to request to speak to an Emerging Product Center Rep, or short for EPC rep. for any DSL order related issues (no tech support question please), thanks.

Lastly, for all dial tone and voice related service problems such as no dial tone, can't receive call, can't make call, caller ID, noisy phone line, etc, Please CALL 611 (CA only) number from your home phone! If you home phone is dead and you only have ONE home phone, you can still use your cell phone to call 800 310 2355 and select "report trouble" voice pormpt.
