|  Download Speed HELP!
They don't know much when I call my provider for help. I need to get a faster download speed. I've tweaked to death and found for me I need to use a MTU 1460 setting not 1492 but the Rwin I can't figure out and the Tweak test doesn't seem to notice my changes in Rwin but hates me not having MTU1492. Help Download Faster Please.
My copmputer is a
700Mhz P3
Kingston NIC thru a
ADSL modem DLink
Windows ME
256MB mem
intel video on board &
Radeon 7000 PCI
2 Monitors

| Ok people, FIXED. First thank you for all the private and posted messages. Here is my new speeds.

I did 2 things at once so i'm not sure which fixed it but it works great now. First I chnaged my duplex from full to half duplex and also when you right click on network and go to the ppp properties for your card and change the IP address or auto I had an IP there but there is another spot. When I click on my connect icon to dial you can hit properties and put an IP address there also, so I did. So now I'm running at full speed.
