Can't reply to a threadThere is a thread that sometimes when I attempt to reply, it says said by DSLReports.com Friendly Error Message: Reply Blocked Topic cannot be replied to at this time.
Many other users are experiencing this error and I'm wondering if it's a database problem or something. |

I'm getting it too. I thought I was posting in word association threads too much. |

I've just been made aware of this too.

It happens if there were more than a few posts with less than a few words made to the topics in the last few hours.
Stops fast-growing topics with nonsense posts. |

It would be nice to know how long the "cooling off" period is.
I've got one that's been blocked for two hours - a bit extreme I think. |

Unfortunately I do not think this is the solution for what they are trying to fix. This is only going to irritate members who want to reply to a thread and can't.
There has to be a better solution than this. What is to stop people from just sabotaging a thread? Warn or stop the abusers not the entire dslr members. |

This has got to be the dumbest feature I have ever seen. What does it accomplish? Nothing, in my opinion. How do you know you're blocking nonsense replies? What if those are legitimate replies? I suggest you reconsider the reply block feature. |
