Could someone please ask the following questions in the FAQ.
What problems should be directed to ASI?
What problems should be directed to SBIS?
I can't because of a bug. If you also have a comprehensive answer that would be a great help as well! 
A couple notes about the FAQ. When you submit a question, if you have a definitive answer please, by all means answer it. If you make a comment about the question in the answer area, I am not sure anyone else can supply a true answer.

Merging them into one big SBC faq?
Currently, the Pacbell forum Moderator RyokinCaid is working on a new faq also and is asking for submissions . Since Pacbell and Swbell have such similiar hardware and software problems and resolutions, how about we just create one faq and like it from both forums? The only thing that would be different is that we would have to add contact info for both regions. It would save space and prevent duplication and speed up the process of creating faqs for both forums. Both FAQs are going to have have every fix duplicated between them anyway. Ameritech and SNET can be added too but they are a little different in procedures. Like you can't order just the dsl line only in Ameritech. Though Ameritech already has a nice FAQ. Maybe we can just merge all 4 forums FAQ's all together.

That is a good idea, I'll hit him up about it. I'll try and make sure we get "top billing". For now I think it is important just to get questions and answers we can work on editing a combined FAQ later. |
