so, MonkeyBiz, did it work?

I have exactly the same problem. I know the LinkSys wpc11v3 definitely works (a colleague's using it) but its been replaced now with v4 which doesn't support NT4. I've trawlled through countless outlet sites which sell "wpc11" but when you enquire they all say it'll actually be the latest stock!!

if anyone knows a UK stockist of slightly obselete stock, that'd be useful!

Try eBay There are several older 802.11b cards that work with NT/Windows 95 etc. but MonkeyBiz was specifically asking for 802.11g one. I wonder if DWL-660 worked. It is good to know.

ZyXEL re-badges the same OEM card as the WPC11 as the ZyAIR B-100. Provantage is still showing stock shows them as backordered. If they replenish, it might be an alternative.

I should have bought one as a backup.

Just add more hardware.

Except that I think ZyXEL does not provide an NT driver as far as I know.

You asked MonkeyBiz if the DWL-660 worked... Yes it does! See my first post where I stated I had one working in NT4. MonkeyBiz also said 802.11b/g, so I think that covers the (b) card that I suggested.

ROGER.

Thank you. Although seeing NT4 is rare these days it still is good to know that there is one that supports NT.
