Are you saying that anonymous source have told you that sp2 will have security feature that will prevent windows that have been pirated from applying the patch? |

A Microsoft person has just confirmed to me that the official policy has not changed, and that pirates don't get XP/SP2. I don't have the foggiest idea what mechanism will be used to prevent this.
Maybe we should start a new thread?
