said by Sweet Witch : So does this mean that when my cable co switches my current TV (analog I'm guessing since it was $99 for a 19") will no longer work??
Eventually, YES, it will no longer work!
That's been their intent all along. I happen to think it's stupid. You WILL be able to purchase a "converter box" tuner of some kind, though, to keep using your "horrible, antiquated" old 10, 12, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27, 30, and 36" televisions. Vermin. With enough people complaining perhaps they'll postpone it again.

| reply to B Yeah my tv is an antique 27 inch so what Tv sucks anyway. Satellite or cable tv sucks whether digital or analog tv sucks. wow 100% digital signal with satellite to watch nothing but stupid paid programming,Shows that are not in your time zone,Satellite companies must think that everyone wants to watch tv at eastern times. Cable Companies charge $6.95 for a digital box,$4.00 for Digital Tier (stupid channels no one wants but you have to buy it to get the one channel that you want)and stupid movies channels that play the same movies over and over for the last 20 years |
