pcmeetOfficial Dta Guru join:2003-09-15 Montgomery, AL | [Equipment] Finaly got my old DTA-310 working with ICH This is not the 1st time to try my old DTA-310 with a non-Packet8 service, I tested it before with FWD but I came up with one way Audio and couldn't go around that problem, tonight it is all green here I tested with ICH and got perfect voice quality 2 ways. here are my step by step:
-Downgrade the DTA-310 with older Packet8 version where you can see the unlocked SIP page in the adapter setup.
-IP address 213.137.73.178
-Port 5060
-Domain name 213.137.73.178
-Line1 "enter ICH account number"
-Port 5060
-AEC on "set to on"
-User name "enter ICH account number"
-Password "enter the 4 digit password"
-Now upgrade the DTA to one of the newer Packet8 versions that the SIP page is locked.
-In router setup enter the DTA-310 IP address in DMZ server
- Reboot the DTA and enjoy the good voice quality
Now I have to find something else to use as a paper weight also may think about selling my SPA-2000. |

 | Great news. I hope others can add to this thread. Any other hacks for the DTA310? |

pcmeetOfficial Dta Guru join:2003-09-15 Montgomery, AL | No hacks here I canceled my Packet8 service last October, Packet8 told me to keep the adapter, I pay for my ICH account and ICH allows BYOD.
I think I will try again to get the adapter working with FWD, I want it to work with FWD because it is the only broadband adapter that talked with my stand alone dialup SIP phone DUV-1000, all other devices like SPA-2000, ATA-186 and Grandstream failed to talk with the DUV-1000. |

You can try, there are 7 fields in the old version of Packet8 SIP page,
IP Address Port Domain name Line1 port User name Password
Give it a try using my step by step but enter the Broadvoice info and post your results. |

Re: [Equipment] Finaly got my old DTA-310 working with ICH I had to change my Netgear wireless router with Linksys wireless router today, I found out that there is no need to have the DTA IP address in DMZ server. |

Re: [Equipment] Finaly got my old DTA-310 working with ICH It would be awesome, if BroadVoice or FWD works with this... |

I tried with FWD before but got one way audio, if we can think what made ICH work 2 way audio then may be we can use it with FWD too, for sure to make the DTA works with FWD there is other value we must enter in IP address or Domain name other than "fwd.pulver.com" |

So, was this an unlocked unit that you got to work ?
Waiting for the steps you followed. It could give some insight on how to break the DTA.
