Yeah the Portland and a few other trials have been going on for a while. This month the trial is expanded to several new markets.....they get to apparently pay while you did not. Nice, huh?

Dayton OH, Limia OH, and Kettering OH. As of WOH has stated in their areas. However those cities are in full launch of the product. They are launching a few cities at a time to ensure the network can accept the expanding of the area and accept new users.

I think Rochester, New York and several cities in the Carolinas were also part of the original trial along with Portland.

High price/ Lack of features- thumbs down

or middle finger up.

I'll take my Vonage that I have had for about 1.5 years.
I'll keep saving money on long distance and keep using my feature rich service.
Vonage is a simple install for even the enept. This is poor launch of the VOIP service. VOIP is like the Internet service fo rhte cable providers.. there isn't much overhead except the cost of truck rolls and manpower.. the service itself is cheap to provide.

Thumbs Down Timewarner!!!

Time Warner and other providers that are rolling out VoIP will start making their services high status on the network and other services lower status in terms of who gets the most bandwidth. And for 1 TWC IS NOT a VoIP provider. They offer Digital Telephone. Their phone service is seperate from the Internet side of the company. Which makes their calls still clearer in terms of voice.

And its just a matter of time until Vonage is bought out by a larger company a lot of their customers aren't to happy with them to begin with right now.
