Even if the uptime falls to 90 % who cares look at the price to speed ratio. Plus it falls on fiber, the only equipment that may fail off the go is probably the access points. Either which way thats a good start for the community. We need more like this to start.

Wouldn't go there.... our fiber ring at work went down and it turned out to be a patch wasn't applied properly allowing dirt to get in the ring. Fiber is not seemless.

When properly checked issues like that don't happen. What i mean is that fiber is the strongest point on the chain.

I guess you can chalk that mess up you all had to pilot error. In any fiber application you are taught to clean every connection no matter what before plugging in.
