I use DSL Extreme on Verizon's lines. I would love to ditch my land line, but wonder how this would work, being that I'm not using Verizon's DSL service.

I don't see CA listed as one of the 12 states that Verizon will allow dry pair DSL.

Also you cant get it unless you have VZ Cell phone service. That aint no naked DSL what a rip!

You're right, it's still being bundled. I was planning on switching to Verizon wireless soon anyways.
