Re: Post your network diagrams here..

I actually have 3 wireless networks, there is another AP on my ZyWALL 10W Router (but is just for backup right now).

I use the Buffalo wireless network (54g) for video streaming to and from my ReplayTV units (one in the bedroom and the other in the family room). I have it physically segmented so that none of that streaming traffic goes over my regular network/switch. I do have the buffalo unit wired to my LAN Switch when the ReplayTV units need to phone home each day. This a;so allows me to copy off recorded shows to my desktop and burn them to DVD when needed.

I use the Intel WAP for all normal wireless LAN/WAN traffic for the listed devices (Laptops and PocketPC's).

They have different ESSID's and WEP Key's and of course on different channels, no problems or conflicts!

Hope the helps,
~Tom

Eh, I'll give it a go. Best I can do with the crappy Visio 2000 that I have to work with. Much of this I'm still getting set up, as we just moved. (Bobo in particular I haven't configured so everything is routing through the WRT54G for now...)

Re: Post your network diagrams here..

Yep. I did have three: two Stations and an original Cube, but had to sell the Cube due to financial troubles. The Stations still work fine; the one with ECC RAM used to be my webserver, until I moved it to the Mac. Now they sit on the network just crunching RC5 (verrrrry slowly.. one WU every two weeks, lol.)

*EDIT: They're original 25 MHz, Mono NeXTstations, from 1991.

This is kind of crude, but it is he basic setup. I will be adding a Cisco router once I buy one and create a DMZ. Also my firewall runs Qmail for a mail relay with antivirus scanning. I want to run all client computers in different subnet. I host a couple of friends websites from my RH box which is cool because I have plenty of bandwidth. I will be adding the WI-FI share service to my account soon and sharing my bandwidth with my neighbors and offer a small hosting solution for my neighborhood. It will be fun!
