Most cable companies will require you to use their boxes. Besides, that box you own may not even be compatible with their network. Buying it was a bad decision. |

|  I own my DVR Scientific Atlanta 8000, I called Time Warner and they say I can only use there boxes. I am moving to Cape Coral, FL where the Service is Time Warner. Is thier any way of using my own Digital Cable Boxes instead of renting their's? I want to order all services but use box's I can buy not rent. |
