Actually, you cant say all Best Buy techs are idiots. I should know because I'm one of them :P
Every store has their mix of good and bad techs. It seems that most stores have a majority of bad techs. The geek squad was suppose to change how current best buy techs handle computer troubleshooting. From what I hear it was, basically system restores for almost any problem. Our deparment fortunately, has one bad tech while the rest are solid. I was shocked to see one new geek squad tech(DA) that didnt know how to assign manual ips and transfer data via xover cable.
But our store's talent, skill, and experience are reflected in our stats. We're number one in our district, region and maybe in the company as well. We also educate our customers to the best we can though most seem to just nod their heads. Anyways, rant off |
