i have pretty consistent speeds close to 3000/256. Actually usually closer to 3200/243. When I had aDSL I only got 1100/102 when advertised was 1500/128.

Carrollton, TX | Ditto... my 3000/256 speeds are very consistant. I generally average 3200/236. I have been as high as 3400/248 but haven't seen that in a while. |

@trw.com | I'm in LA, and every evening the network goes down the drain. Speeds are rotten during standard evening hours. If I hop on later at night or early morning on a weekend, the speeds are normal / fine. |

That is, as you may know, merely a capacity problem in your immediate neighborhood. Comcrap can & will deploy more capacity if users in your region complain. Start complaining. Thoughput depressions like the one you describe are often caused by a small number (2-10) of identifiable users (read: neighbors) who are file trading. |
