»Cayman Routers »My Cayman doesn't work, what could be wrong?

In addition, unless you changed it the default address would be 192.168.1.254

yep, i tried 192.168.1.254

this has happened before when the router doesnt "boot up" (i dont know what other terminology would work) correctly. which stems from the plug in problem i stated before.

i posted this topic a long time ago and never got a clear cut response. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. i am running a cayman 3220-h DSL router w/ an APS I.T.E Power Supply that has an output of 9VDC and 1500mA. the problem is that after unplugging the power supply to the router when you try to plug it back in it wont sync up w/ the dsl at all. It seems like it doesnt reset properly. i dont know if anyone else has noticed but when you plugin the power supply the 'DSL' and 'Status' lights should briefly come on along w/ the LAN port lights. but when i plug the router in only the LAN port lights blink on. has anyone else had this problem and if so, how should i go about fixing it?

also when this happens i cannot log into the router via »ip or via telnet. the ip address used to be 192.168.0.0 (i thought. its been a while since i've used it).
