 Norvergence Customers Uniting?

I am a concerened Norvergence customer. I am sure that i am not alone in my concerns of service going down (it is still working...), and with the outstanding lease with GE that needs to be paid even if the service does go down.
Is there a group of customers that is getting together to prepare for the unknown outcome of this mess?

no you dont have to pay anyone once the service goes down. if you all go to norvergence website under customer documents you will fine the rental agreement. which allows us all to cancel with no penalties if the service is down for over 36 hours on any calander month.

Actually, I believe all that says is you stop paying Norvergence. You are still on the hook with the lease though.

The leasing companies are in a panic because of this and they are trying to find ways to make sure the lessees will continue their payments.

I'm also mad as hell for signing up for the service so I'm in for any upcoming law suits against the company. I'm normally very careful about dealing with any vendors but a close friend sent them my way. Norvergence stinks and the more I'm learning about them, the madder I get about not doing my due dillegence.

I'd like to see this discussion continue constructively.

Please do not post ANY type of solicitations, if you are in doubt of what I mean by that feel free to drop me an IM.

Thanks!

I am a former Norvergence employee... the equipment agreement you signed binds you to the vendor and states you must pay regardless of Norvergence....Not only that but beware more trouble might soon follow because Norv paid cell and LD bills on the back end ...and you probably signed a loa to pic the lines since Norv has declared bankruptcy and owes me at least $20,000 not including the last paycheck they just bounced....I doubt they will be paying anyone else's

It seems they are indeed dead:

As a network integrator, I have rarely found a situation where providers are willing to use someone else's equipment. Unless a provider rises to meet the challenge, I believe the vast majority of "Matrix" boxes are going to wind up either unused or discarded.

My only advice is to find a good attorney, or form a class-action suit.

Re: Norvergence Customers Uniting?

I also will consider joining a class action lawsuit to cancel this contract and equipment lease.
I'm not paying for any of this mess.
I have never been connected or ported, we have never received the correct cell phones, Customer "Service" has been absolutely horrible, NV just filed bankruptcy and the leasing company wants me to start paying anyway!! How do we reach each other to collect and compare information?
