Hellooooo Charter!
After a year and a half I've given up on SBC. True, my problems are probably cause I'm over 12K feet from the CO but SBC doesn't even offer dialup at my other house so I doubt I'll see a closer CO anytime soon.
Right now I'm running at a cool 3Mbps with no problems at all for the same price as SBC. I'm still running with my 2Wire home phone network. Haven't lost a connection all day. SBC wasn't even running (no sync) when the installer came. |

| Charter here in StL doesn't have transfer limits or packetloss problems (typically).
As a matter of fact, Charter here in StL is probably the best market in Charter.

You know what's really sad is I ordered something from SBCs DSL store. The site is very slow to begin with. Yesterday and today I tried to track my order but get "Page Cannot Be Displayed".
I mean, that's just a really sad state of affairs. |
