The Media Play building in Cobb is still available, hopefully they'll open up. Competition is tough, WorstBuy, Circuit City and CrapUSA all within a few blocks. -- some people believe in astrology others believe in technology some people believe in all those -ologies but i believe in swordfish |

| reply to ooSillyoo Speaking of opening up competition, there is also a BrandSmarts opening up this fall off 285 in Doraville. Yes, they do carry a lot of low-priced stuff, but also have good prices on audio, video and computer stuff. I think this is their first store outside South Florida. -- GDATL - Atlanta GA |

| reply to clecrupt9 on the contrary studies show that that exact area is the fastest growing areas of Atlanta. Think about it. You have Alpharetta where the average person is making 79k a year. Affluent Duluth, theres tons of high end people moving to the Sugarloaf area and so forth. Its kind of like how the 285 area was in the early 80s. |

| Well I can say the Frys in Sacramento (they bought the old Incredible Universe store) had no theme. Looked like a costco. -- The difference between foresight and hindsight is only a matter of when you bother to think things through. |

I'll agree it is growing. Gwinnett as a whole is, but what's moving in that particular area isn't what's moving to North Fulton/Forsyth, or Mall of Georgia. Gwinnet Place still has a lot of traffic, but the area is changing and becoming more and more like Jimmy Cater Blvd. Gwinnett Place has already started to scale down to less affluent buyers. There are also business signs in Spanish/Korean around the mall now, and from what I understand the mall has a heavy influence of the Latino community. A while back a police officer friend instructed me not to move around the mall because of the area becoming more dangerous. However there are parts of Duluth that are very nice. |

| Cool I saw Fry's Electronics right off of I-85.
I saw while going south and it was in Duluth, GA with a Red sign showing Fry's Electronics on a brown building. Somewhere between exits 103 Steve Reynolds Blvd Nw and 104 Pleasant Hill Rd Nw. It might be some where along Venture Dr Nw. Duluth Map |
