I do not understand why they chose that location. Its becoming really economically depressed since TMOG opened.

Even with the The Mall of Georgia having opened, going by all the traffic I see in the area, I am not convinced that it is in a location that is economically depressed.

If that area is economically depressed, then I'd have to say the same about the Mall of Georgia area.

But maybe the better question would be: what can you [I] do to NOT make it economically depressed?

I can't remember where I saw it, but if my memory serves me well, I think the grand opening is towards the latter part of August (20ish). Don't quote or hold me to that.

The address of the Gwinnett Place Fry's is:
3296 Commerce Ave NW Duluth GA 30096

Are you sure that's not the old General Cinemas building (behind Sears)? That picture sure looks like it.

I'm glad they've located there and not Mall of Georgia; that will be much more convenient to most of Atlanta than MOG -- I certainly wouldn't trek up to MOG very often for small electronic components. They also probably got a lower lease on the building/land.

As someone that lives inside the perimeter, I would agree. I have never even been to MOG.

I too have not been to the Mall Of Georgia (MOG)
I come down to Atlanta at least 1 a month. And it is like about a 3 hr drive just going down but round trip is like 6 hr.

I live five minutes from MOG and I have only been there twice since it opened, I hate that area. Always too much traffic. Why don't we hate an Atlanta meet when it opens? We can all eat at Chipotle!
