1 edit | You will have to set up your own configuration files because there aren't any default files available yet for the Caymans. The program works fine on ZyXEL's, but there several unfinished portions. This is a work in progress. I don't think the bit load matrix (DMT matrix) is available on Caymans so that part won't work.
Edit: It really isn't a big deal to set up dataconfig files. It is just tedious counting lines and words in a line and remembering that the first one of each starts at zero. |

| reply to FatJack OK this might be a bit of trial-and-error. I used the same method on my ZyXEL. Let's see if I'm counting right. First off, only check the downstream and upstream noise margin boxes and try using Downstream Line: 24, Word: 3 and Upstream Line :24, Word: 5. Save and restart ADSLMonitor, maybe even restart it twice (I've noticed things didn't always work right on the first restart), and see if those values work correctly for noise margins. |

FatJack Premium join:2001-06-26 Barnwell, SC | reply to d_l When I hit "Connect" and "Acquisition On" it generates a entry in a file named ADSLMonitor.err ("ADSLMonitor 07/14/04 23:51:22 Subscript out of range"). |

d_l Barsoom Premium,MVM join:2002-12-08 Reno, NV | reply to FatJack I got that too at times while I was working up the ZyXEL configs. Well, give this a try - Down L: 12, W: 3 and Up L: 12, W: 5. I'm not sure how blank lines are counted. I only had one to worry about in my preview file. |

d_l Barsoom Premium,MVM join:2002-12-08 Reno, NV | The default configuration.cfg on the ADSL Monitor web site wouldn't work for you? |

join:1999-07-22 Austin, TX | When I downloaded the monitor a couple of days ago there was not a config file for the Cayman. It was grayed out. However, your reponse led me to look at the site again. There is one there now. I will try it out. Thanks for the help. |
