IRC requires you to beg for uploads, wait for queues.BT and Kazaa Lite doesn't have long queues and can hit near max speeds almost instantly if there is sufficient upload bandwidth.

| That's where newsgroups come in handy. Speed is always maxed out, no queueing (except maybe locally on a user's machine - most Usenet providers limit the number of simultaneous connections), and no waiting a long time to get what you want. Plus, you can leech all you want, and not worry about the riaa, mpaa or bsa (unless you upload copyrighted material of theirs using your ISP's news server). -- "Kayura or Badamon, whichever you are, you should know that I will never give up this battle. @tele.dk | reply to Centrilium yes IF there is sufficient bandwidth...... which there rarely is... it takes me usually more than 30 mins to get an OK speed on BT (more than 100k) and that just sucks.... id rather be in a xdcc queue for 20 mins and get 200k+ right off the bat |
