WGE101 and WPA - is it supported?

I'm looking at running my xbox wirelessly using a WGE101 talking to my DG834G wireless adsl router.

I've upgraded my router to support WPA, which is now working fine (thanks to the latest firmware), and I use WPA rather than WEP.

Does anyone know if the WGE101 will support WPA and what revision of firmware it will need to support it? All the information I can see suggests that it only supports WEP.

Cheers in advance

Mark.

Mark, this unit will not support WPA (entirely contrary to what Netgear said when I purchased it in the first place). Somewhere on the Netgear site is an itemized list of equipment that will NOT be WPA-upgradeable. The WGE101 ethernet bridge is on it.

Thanks for that - I had a feeling that it might be a case of something along those lines - is anyone aware of a similar device from another manufacturer that does support WPA?

Cheers

Mark, the only WPA-enabled ethernet bridge I am aware of is made by SMC. Sorry, but I don't recall the particular model offhand.
