| Re: is this new? jeeeezzz, you people are never happy.is anyone using anything near 15/2 in thier home right now? or how about 30/5? if i was offered the 15/2 for 45 a freakin month i would take it and not say a peep, hell its better than the 60 a month im paying for comcast. t?
Well, here's the first thing that's going to happen in 2004 if tney deploy those fiber lines, that $90 per month they get for their top package of VOICE service gets hammered to voip with no $12-20 per month in taxes and surcharges saving about $50 per month in overcharges, like $600 per year!!, Next, content delivered cheap instead of full retail store price like charging $20 per audio cd in the 1990's and make you buy the whole thing.. Next, alacarte cable programming so we don't have to take channels that suck..If we don't want fox news channel, or abc or disney, than we don't buy it anyway because it's in the package.. and dont even try to overcharge us b/c it will backfire with re-streaming content at low bit rates.. so give us a fair deal or watch the new napster for cable tv(spring to life)!! A fair deal, oh yea one more fantasy thing.. can I get an independant candidate on the presidential ticket please, and no fries with that! It's called fair deals and REAL competition.. vz had to cut their price because of an inferior product for years now-- don't think just b/c those cute red lettering trucks lay fiber that's overcharged for is going to make them alot of money.. try again--also it can't replace copper yet because we don't have long-term battery backedup voip(or video phone) hardware solutions yet--hint hint maybe 2006-2007 product lines, but not 2004

well i doubt anything close to that will happen in 2004 since the year is half over already. 2005? maybe but before half of what your saying comes true fiber will have to be more widespread and at the cost per mile it is going to take awhile, by time fiber will finally be deployed on a large scale i will be too old to care or dead so im not going to hold my breath waiting for it.
