Isn't their any kind of oversight of these companies like with the bells? Man, if landline service went out often and affected so many like VoIP, you'd have the authorities on them pretty quick.

| I can login to the website no problem, and can receiving *incoming* calls...however can not make ANY outgoing calls on either of my two Vonage lines.
I *am* getting successful, two-way communication with the Vonage SIP server (216.111.25.172), however, packet analysis shows their server responding to my SIP Invite requests with a "408 Request Timeout" ten seconds after I send my request.
