Reason for selling (since it has been a popular question lately): bought it for my sister's PC building project, to find out she rather have a different card suitable for gaming vs AIW style.

otherwise $140 + shipping is the cheapest I could find it from other reputable sites.

if you want a picture of an actual box, just post here and I will take .jpeg(s) of the box for you

just a few simple questions if you would mind...

what are the two other connectors (next to catv and div) for since I have never seen this card before? thanks

I'm guessing that card requires extra power or I guessed wrong with the thing looking like a 4-pin molax on the rear of the card?

there is a power connector (see back of the card, white connector), it can be small fdd or normal size hdd-like - since the box is sealed I am not sure which one is on it, my guess HDD power connector style.

Is this thing NTSC only? Is it compatible with the European PAL system too?

I checked throught the links you provided but didn't see anything. If you can find this out, I would be interested in a deal...

" Features vary from country to country and depending on the television standard. *Note that Latin American countries using the PAL M and PAL N standards including Argentina and Brazil are supported by the NTSC version."

I hope it helps.

*** please note, that international shipping will run extra. Germany, for example will cost $25 in addition to the above price making it $130.

Canada: add $10 to the above price.

TV-tuner requirements
TV signal from amplified antenna or cable. Versions available for:
NTSC (North America, Japan, and Latin America*)
PAL B/G/D/K/I and Secam L/D/K (Europe and International PAL/Secam countries)

I'm assuming yours is the NTSC version. Thanks for the reply.

hmm that actually look like a mini 4pin connector like the one used for diskette drives

the 8500dv quite looks so different from the 7500aiw. the 7500aiw has seperate a/v in and out connectors plus its tv tuner is rectangle shaped with "philips" written on the top.

I think I kind of like this card but I'm not so sure I need 64mb of memory nor firewire for a very long time so...I think I'll pass.

I have this card and you do not need to give it any extra power for anything.

you would have to use an adapter cable (included or optional I dunno) if you want try plug a molax connector into it...else it uses the mini-4pin by default.

dragonhorse...

p.s=you know...some older durable power supplies had two mini-4pin connectors on them which is kind of the perfect thing for no-adapter-cables connecting of this card and a diskette drive together.

Guys that is not a power connector its an audio input!!!!!!!

If you actually have the card in your hand this connector is WAY smaller than even the smallest power connector.

Besides i called ATI and asked about this very connector.

you mean there's two audio connectors for one card? hmm what would be the reasoning behind both? my 7500aiw only had one near the top of the card.

perhaps when one is overlaying audio in a video projects they can draw it from the PC itself.

there is an internal power connector on the board. but you don't need to plug it in unless you want to use bus powered firewire devices (like external hardrives) with the card.
